At the heart of this collection lies a standardised aluminium bracket, each one meticulously pulled by hand. We’ve always admired the brackets found in hardware stores for their simplicity, but we wanted to elevate this concept into something refined.

Our inspiration stems from Georges Candilis’ 1950s furniture, designed for the French holiday village Les Carrats in Port-Leucate. Candilis envisioned simple, inexpensive furniture that could be easily transported and assembled. His creations – tables, chairs, daybeds, and stools – were made from plywood boards and aluminium angles. Only a few hundred pieces were produced, and very few remain today - ironically turning his inexpensive and accessible objects into collectors items.

The mirrored brackets in each piece create a harmonious symmetry. The collection embodies a semi-modular design, allowing for versatility and adaptability in various settings. It is available with pine shelving, reclaimed shelving or just the frames without shelving. The brushed aluminium finish adds a touch of sophistication, stylising a functional component.
